Blind Drawing

This project focused on the art of blind drawing. We were asked to draw three flowers on a white piece of paper with a white crayon while not looking at our paper. Then, we used water colors to cover the paper with paint. The white crayon repelled the paint and we were able to easily see the flowers that appeared invisible before.
An extension activity that could be used with this project would be to have students blind draw their favorite president or political figure for Social Studies. Then, students could write a report on their figure and display their works of art around the classroom.
